The Sleeve pocket binder was created to safeguard the world's most valuable trading cards digitally. Collectors have long sought ways to preserve items like Honus Wagner's T205 card, valued at 10 million USD since the American Tobacco Company days. The Sleeve application now meets this challenge.

The expansion of trading card assets has been driven by several factors, such as nostalgia for classic card games and the emergence of social media platforms fostering community among collectors, particularly in sports. The accessibility of online marketplaces has simplified buying, selling, and trading cards, intensifying interest and underscoring the necessity for a secure method to showcase and exchange these valuable assets.

Research has shown that trading card enthusiast prioritize quality and condition. I adopted a minimalist design approach to emphasize the card, making ita visual centerpiece. Acknowledging the diversity in card styles, formats, and textures, I developed minimal functionality elements to create an airy landscape that would allow the user to focus on each card's essence."
Developing a Limitless Binder
Traditional binders can damage trading cards due to materials that may scratch or bend them over time. They often lack sufficient protection against elements like moisture and sunlight, which can degrade card condition. Specialized storage solutions are recommended for preserving valuable trading cards effectively.
Micro Interactions
Aligning the physical and digital card experiences was essential for Sleeve's native interaction flow. Using Figma, I tested micro interactions to enhance touch points and guide users effectively, aiming for a more intuitive and engaging product.

Each card's value is assessed using a 10-point rating system. Incorporating a method to browse card data and accurately represent each card's details based on its rating was crucial for Sleeve's consumer adaptability. This approach aims to create a realistic and personalized experience across different platforms.
